Have you ever come across an Espalier fruit tree? It’s neat and tidy, pruned delicately against a warm wall or fence, fruits within reach, tasty tenable fruit on elegant arms. This sweet name came to mind when designing this jumpsuit, and now I’ve made it into a dress and a tank top. It’s a tasty word to say and it’s smooth and elegant and a tiny bit spunky. The Espalier is a dress in thick cotton ribbing, a luxe knit that holds its shape fairly well and hugs your body in a tasty way. Or a lighter, softer cotton knit. Sweet sweetheart neckline, tastefully exposed back, tiny straps, slimming and tidy and elegant down the body and down the legs and that spunk arrives at the hem which is a delicious lettuce edging.

Krishna is wearing a s/m in Black Cotton Ribbing, Emma is wearing a s/m in Chocolate Cotton Knit, and Brooke is wearing a s/m in Plumberry Hemp Jersey (only available in cream hemp jersey now).

The dress will be made without a slit, but if you would like one please note that when you ‘add to cart’

xs/s measures - 27” bust, 24” waist, 38” hips

s/m measures - 28” bust, 27” waist, 40” hips

m/l measures - 30” bust, 28” waist, 42” hips

l/xl measures - 36.5” bust, 33” waist, 44” hips

*keep in mind these measurements are the fabric unstretched and laying flat. The ribbed cotton is quite thick and stretchy like the cuffs of your favourite hoodie. If you’re unsure of sizing or how much stretch is going to happen be in touch and we can help you figure out the best size for your body and desired fit <3

If you are regularly a size small and want it fitted, go with the size xs/s, but if you’d like it a little more relaxed go with the s/m.

All dresses are made to order meaning we cut, sew, and wash only after an order has been placed. That leaves us plenty of space to make adjustments for your body.
